Leto,
On 14-Jun-99, you wrote:

They are the best games ever BTW :) I've played most of them
that appeared on the Amiga from the likes of the 'first' called
Loom to anything and everything. Basically GREAT :)

Well nowadays, yes, very important, it adds to the feel, makes it
look more like todays games and is a nice gimic that sells.

Music is a best choice but with some sounds, the music needs to be
very atmospheric and lots of it for different locations, ie, when
you enter the next location/screen the music really should change
to suit it. Lots of music or people get bored.

Graphics, need to be very cartoony (sp?) and colourful. They need
to have alot of detail, lots of it.

No humourous all the time, just look at the likes of the humour
in Monkey Island series, very funny. Also Leisure Suit Larry
collection, smutty humour was good, depends on what the game
is about really. If someone was murdered and your finding
out about a murder then humourous comments won't go dowm
to well but..
A colourful game with bouncy but atmospheric music with humour
sounds good to me.
You really should find someone funny though and spend along
time working on the humour and test it on people lots before the
game is released. You don't want corney comments and silly
puns that aren't funny at all and the game is advertised as the
funniest game of the year, etc.
BTW, does this mean your making an c&p adventure game? can
I take a wee look :)?
Hope it was some help!
